      MapView#getId is depracated with no indication what to use instead, yet MapMeta#setId as well as MapMeta#getMapId are not. The MapView method returns a short while the MapMeta methods use an int.

      Yeah it shouldn't be, but it needs more work than that as it needs to be transformed into an int (currently short) and backwards compatability added.
