Chat messages don't use the translatable "chat.type.text" string

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Duplicate
    • Priority: Minor
    • None
    • Affects Version/s: None
    • git-Spigot-f68f5a8-4b00823 (MC: 1.13) (Implementing API version 1.13-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)
    • Yes

I'm unsure of how many languages actually use this (can only think of the jokey "Upside Down" language), but it would be nice for the few languages that might use this. (And users who like to change the chat format.)
Could this also be related to team colors/prefixes/suffixes not appearing in chat?

Damn, so it's not possible to have a chat like vanilla without breaking other plugins? Oh well.

Because then plugins couldn't customize chat to their liking.
