Being able to programmatically change the locator bar would be really helpful for all manner of things - adventure/story modes using it to lead players to the next event, the ability to hide individual players or just show players that have opted to reveal their locations to each other (say in Factions, or just on a larger server allowing friends to share locations while not seeing everyone else). It'd be a great tool if it's something that can be done.
