I have possibly encounted an issues on the 1.19.4 release.

Currently I am using a plugin for an eggwars server, and I noticed when players die they see the 'you died' screen as usual.

However when selecting 'respawn' this option will not work since Minecraft thinks you are already back alive because of the automatic respawn.

After contacting the development team of this plugin and troubleshooting together on different versions, empty server etc. we noticed this issue only occurs in 1.19.4.
