I noticed that my cow farm is no longer working since the 1.14 update. I have baby cows get pushed by water streams as soon as they are born to a chamber with hoppers for the floor to pick up items and lava as the ceiling. There is one block of air between the hoppers and lava (held up by signs). However, the baby cows are dying to the lava now even though their hit boxes should not be making contact with the lava
