Steps to reproduce using two Minecraft clients:

1) On 1 client click right mouse button to raise shield
2) On 2 client fly far away to hide player then back to player

Also, when you hold right mouse button and someone shoots you with arrows blocking animation is gone (even if you are still blocking). 

This issue will confuse players and server staff (player is cheating?)
