In version git-Spigot-eadd615-bea5a84, saving a book does not reveal the desired text. When signing a Book and Quill, text appears incorrectly (example attached to this thread).

No Plugins Installed
When signing (saving) a written book, the text saves incorrectly. An example has been added to this post. I have tried this in vanilla Minecraft and saved seamlessly. I have tried both latest releases of Bukkit as well as Spigot with no plugins installed and get the same error. I get no errors in console during start up of server, or when attempting to save books.
