I would like to discuss the possibility of a PR that provides a World.spawnEntity method which accepts a SpawnReason.
This could be used for a variety of reasons:
- world generators or populators being able to mimic natural spawning
- A plugin simulating spawn eggs through custom mechanics
- Special cases that wish to bypass other plugins which are blocking the CUSTOM spawn reason
Does this sound like something we would like to have, or would it be considered too abusable?
