Given books and quills not keeping title after signing

      Java Open-JDK 1.8.0_45
      Last-updated Spigot 1.8.7 (compiled with BuildTools #40)

      (the bug also occurs on my own computer)

      In Minecraft singleplayer (any 1.8 version), if you give yourself a book and quill with a predefined title and you sign (and close) it, the book keeps the initial title.

      Now, if you try the same operation using Spigot 1.8.3 or 1.8.6 or even 1.8.7, the book will have the title you wrote when you signed it.
