Spigot 1.17 not working?

      I just tried to join using 1.17 spigot but it didn't work. I use an aternos server and i want to use  spigot or paper so i can install geyser mc which is a plugin for java-bedrock crossplay. But when my friend on MCPE tries to join it says unable to connect to world.
