I would like to suggest Spigot update the SpecialSource jar and utilize the --kill-lvt flag to fix the snowmen symbols representing local variables. As far as I can see, this would have almost no negative effect on BuildTools and the building process at all. I'm assuming this would still be close to the average build time for each user, based on my experience.

What a developer (and user of IntelliJ IDEA 14) would have to gain is the convenient ways of utilizing IntelliJ's fernflower decompiler to read compiled NMS code.
