Whenever i try to name a mob using a name tag, the name shows above the mob for 1/2 second then disappears. The nametag returns to my inventory after i right click a chest and exit out of the chest interface. Of course the name tag has been renamed on an anvil first. I have tried villagers, zombies, cats etc. Happens even with vanilla Minecraft client without any mods.
