 Description   

Server crashes trying to save a certain entity in my world coming from 1.20.4, so long as said entity is not ticked on 1.20.5. Using --forceUpgrade does not make a difference.

Affects Spigot 1.20.5.

Does not affect Spigot 1.20.4, Vanilla Server 1.20.4 / 1.20.5.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Extract the world from the attached file.
  • Set view distance to 8, simulation distance to 6 in server.properties
  • Start Spigot 1.20.5 and join
  • /tp 4310.18 100.0 4281.08
  • Wait a few seconds. I assume in this configuration the entity is loaded but not ticked.
  • /tp 0 100 0
  • Server crashes
