I think there enough demand for that feature to be added there no way to detect when obsidian is formed by water and lava. So please try to add at least a new event or add this appening to an existing event. I don't know but its realy annoyin that there is no way to do that easily. |

1.8 isn't supported anymore. Please try to verify that there is no BlockFormEvent using lastest Spigot version for 1.18.2 |
