Vanilla 1.16.1 -> Spigot 1.16.1 caused issues

 Description   

As I switch from Vanilla 1.16.1 to Spigot 1.16.1 and I enter the nether- it gets reset for no reason, although if I login from vanilla, the nether doesn't reset.
I haven't downloaded any plugins in Spigot in order for this to crash/fail.

have exactly same issue..  would rather not start our nether project from scratch..

Cannot reproduce. If you are upgrading a vanilla world make sure you dont have a world_nether folder already
