When you open a Book GUI (Use a book and quill), click the text in it to move the curson and then press a keyboard key (For example one of the arrow key) the Minecraft client crashes with a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException This was tested on Singleplayer and Also a plain vanilla server without any client-crashes and it only happens in survival (and maybe adventure mode, but not tested) mode and not creative mode. Full client crash report is attached to this. |

@md_5 Forgot to mention that it doesn't happen in creative, but only in survival (Didn't check in adventure mode, but assume a simmilar thing could happen there) Updated the report about that. |

Cannot reproduce.
Gave book in creative. Wrote in it. Moved cursor, wrote more no issues.
Closed book. Repeated writing and moving of cursor, no issue.
Switched to survival mode, repeated writing and moving of cursor, no issue.
Moved book around inventory, repeated writing and moving of cursor, no issue. |
