Take a pickaxe into your hands and in survival mode break a block with it, then holding exact same pickaxe run the command below command: /execute store success entity @s SelectedItem.tag.Damage int 100 if entity @s
In single player and on the vanilla server the damage of the pickaxe changes, but on spigot it doesn't |

This is an important feature of many datapacks, and since people are starting to create datapack servers it would be extremely beneficial to support this feature. |

Its essentially a bug in Vanilla that this works there at all (see above ticket). Note for example how you can edit SelectedItem.tag.Damage, but not for example SelectedItem.Count |

But this fix will add the ability to add advanced datapacks on spigot. |

Dunno if this will be fixed - the way the Vanilla command is implemented is unsafe |
