 Description

When entering a particular part of my world, my client violently disconnects from the server with the following exception:

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException:readerIndex(11)+length(1) exceeds writerIndex(11): UnpooledHeapByteBuf(ridx: 11, widx: 11, cap: 11)

Not sure as to the cause, could only assume it's some type of block that is suddenly loaded.

Sorry for the delay. Here is the world download:

The best play to see this happen is 201, 59, -776. Should spawn into a room made of Diorite with item frames on the wall. I've narrowed it down to either a slime head or one of the creeper head on the walls, though the enderman head on the wall also has lore attached to it.

Yeah dropbox would be ok

I can provide my world folder zipped and coordinates to the issue. How would it be best to get to you? It's about 2.4 GB. I can provide a Dropbox download if that would be best.

I can't reproduce it. Can you provide more informations like the Map or something ?

Comment by The Dark Psycho [ 29/Nov/14 ]

Correct. Running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-"F498585" (MC: 1.8) (Implementing API version 1.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) does not demonstrate this issue.

So this does only happen on Spigot but not on CraftBukkit ?

Comment by The Dark Psycho [ 29/Nov/14 ]

I removed and deleted all skulls nearby under MC Vanilla Server 1.8.1 will be keeping this bug open as a regression issue. It works validly in the upstream version.

Comment by The Dark Psycho [ 29/Nov/14 ]

There are more than a few skulls near there. I'm still able to load the world in vanilla MC. I can narrow it down to which skull(s) and get that information with you. I have a suspicion which one it is, too

Looks like there is a Skull with invalid Data in it. Can you look with MCEdit?
