Not sure what the right approach is for this.
We can't just override it instead of ticksLives because there can be special (negative values) for these items.
Probably need a new API method, but I'm not sure what the appropriate name would be,.

You aren't even checking if its an arrow you are resetting. I don't think the entities are lingering around after they expire.
As for the first issue - this is expected - they have their own despawn counter, not tickslIved.
