Description |
Server is running the latest version of Spigot, I just installed the latest version a few hours ago. All plugins are disabled when running this test (and all are up to date when they are not disabled). CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-0f17cfb-c1462a2 (MC: 1.11) (Implementing API version 1.11-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) On some (usually rare) occasions, Shulker Boxes of any color, upon placing, become 'reset'. Usually the items in the shulker box, along with any "named" shulker box text will be removed once the Shulker box has been placed. This will not happen until the box has literally been placed. On very few occasions has the shulker box reset to the default "purple" texture (I have not been able to duplicate the color-switching, but my players have reported it very few times). I can assure you everything is up to date, and there shouldn't be any server plugins conflicting, because as I mentioned, during this critical test, all plugins were completely disabled.
I found this video on YouTube showcasing the same issue we are having: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf_BDpiEE1k |

Learns how to build Spigot huh, that was surprisingly painless. Fix confirmed. Thank you md_5 for all your hard work and for your patience. |

Random 3rd party builds are nit supported. |

When I run the latest (assuming Yive's Mirror is up to date) Spigot with Austin's world, I can still reproduce the bug. In what way is it "fixed"? Are such worlds irrepairable? |

Thank you for providing enough information to fix the problem. |

Okay, I was able to get just that region downloaded. I tested it again on a separate server with no plugins, just Spigots latest version. Still same issue happened. You can download the world fire here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/wa3fcrc2f3dgnt0/ShulkerBoxTesting.zip (Thank you Freyr for the help)
There is a light blue shulker box placed exactly where I have been testing the recurring issue. Let me know what happens for you. (Try in survival). (-44, 60, 1547)
EDIT: I attached the world file to this thread so you don't have to use media fire. |

World data is stored in "region" files, each representing (I think) 512 blocks by 512 blocks. If you can figure out which region (perhaps using this calculator?) the area is where you can reproduce this bug, then you can delete the rest of the map before uploading (obviously, don't do that on your main server, make a copy first). That should save you some time if your connection is slow. |

Okay I'll be able to do this later. The map is extremely large and my internet speeds are terribly slow so I'll see what I can do. |

Also just placed 64 shulker boxes in random positions on my server, destroyed them, placed them in another random position, and every box was filled correctly. |

Attach map with details of "certain areas" |
