Spigot 1.8.8 = Works perfectly TPS 19-20 40+ players
Spigot 1.9 = Entitys lagg TPS 12-13 40+ players

Mojang have apparently found and fixed the issues with entities in general with 1.9.3. When its released fully we should hopefully get those fixes

I'm experiencing this issue too. Exactly the same TPS dropdown...
1.8.8 - 90 players: 18-20 TPS
1.9 - 50 players (limited because of TPS): only 10-17 TPS, unstable

Timings

Seems like problems between CraftBook <> Spigot <> LWC
Disabling one of them increases TPS and disabling both of them, spigot runs fine...

I'm clueless...

It'll take some time to optimize 1.9. With 1.8 this took several months.

Why do you believe your entities to be causing lag?

Your timings report doesn't really indicate that, and other items are causing far more havoc.

You can reduce entity activation range, especially on passive mobs, to decrease entity load on your CPU though.

Confirmed for all 1.9 builds. I've set the view distance to 4 to make it playable.
