 Description   

/scoreboard teams add default
/scoreboard teams option default nametagVisibility never
/scoreboard teams join default

Nametags are still visible.

Clean world with your commands -> cannot reproduce.
When using /scoreboard teams remove default, name tag appears.

Usually only "complete" reports get checked.
Without as much as a screenshot, yours seems "incomplete".
What i guess boomboompower meant was:
Your chances of getting someone like md_5 to take a good look at your bug report is much higher if your bug report is as complete as possible, so it might be a good idea to include some kind of proof/use case example like a screenshot for example.
It's not about you lying - it's about making it as easy as possible for the dev that has to understand your issue.

Proof? Why would I lie? You really want me to add a screenshot which shows player's nametags showing? I don't think it would be of much help in resolving the issue.
