 Description   

As we know, you can change the pattern of a Shield.
(Craft a banner and a shield together; http://i.imgur.com/H5Wn1NU.png)
However, this is not available on Spigot. We should handle ShieldMeta just like BannerMeta, OR, apply BannerMeta to Shields.

That's not how shields work though They are literally the combination of a shield and a banner. Pretending a shield is a banner when they are two combined things is silly.

Honestly, I don't find that really smart. It'd be easier to simply use a ShieldMeta, or BannerMeta (for shields, of course.)

As I said above and as the stack trace says, it's a BlockStateMeta. So use that and set the state to a banner.

What about it didnt work? Its a blockstate meta, you attach the ban er as the state.

Banner meta is applicable to shields.
