Here is the exact thing I want this Event to be able to do:
A player or other Entity enters a nether portal. This causes another portal to be generated on the other end of the teleportation location (if it doesn't exist already)
This Event should be fired when it attempts to generate this portal. Canceling it should prevent the new portal from spawning and stop the following teleportation
Why is this a much needed thing?
Since the TravelAgent was removed in 1.14+ there is no reliable way to prevent a nether portal from spawning in a plugin protected area. (It had a function to do that)
If this Event would fire on nether portal creation any type of entity (including Player) we would be able to solve this problem by canceling the creation.
I know only little about the backend code of this but I am willing to donate some funds to the project as a little token of appreciation if you implement something like this
