I would like to suggest some methods to initialize a jigsaw generation.
Minecraft uses the jigsaw system to build villages. Unfortunately their only use currently is within structure block structures for the villages/pillager outposts that generate, but there's no way for a player to initialize a new a jigsaw.
I would love to see some methods where a plugin could initialize a new structure, like a custom village (outside of vanilla village generation) or custom build (maybe some funky new building made of pieces, or a underground dungeon system). Some parameters I visualize as being necessary might include, but not limited to, structure block pool (the directory the new jigsaw pattern would initially pull from, like "minecraft/structures/village/taiga/houses" or a custom one "minecraft/structures/village/custom/houses"), and radius (to distinguish how far from the centre of the new jigsaw pattern this would generate out to), maybe height as well, location.
I envision using this to be able to create my own pool of structures (village pieces) and be able to spawn/create new structure systems where I feel fit, structures may include custom village generation, buildings (similar to how the mansion generates), custom underground dungeon systems, custom mineshaft, anything really. This would be a really cool way for a server to make themselves super custom, and to open up the possibilities for plugin developers.
